“Take time for health now, or make time for disease later.”
Dr. Slipacoff, ND is the Clinic Director and one of the Naturopathic Doctors at Kleinburg Integrative Health. Since becoming an ND in 2005, Susan has cultivated a practice that focuses on treating hormonal complaints (for both males and pre and post-menopausal women), digestive health concerns, weight loss, cardiovascular conditions including high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels, chronic stress, anxiety, depression and other mood concerns as well as auto-immune conditions.
Her vision is to improve her patients health by empowering them to make important lifestyle changes that are required to achieve their overall goals. Dr. Slipacoff, ND uses the most up to date treatments to optimize her patients healing capacity including clinical nutrition, natural supplement and herbal medicine recommendations, IV vitamin drip treatments, bio-identical hormone therapy, acupuncture and lifestyle management counselling.
Prior to graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in 2005, Susan’s undergraduate studies were in kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario and she is currently licensed through the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and a professional member of both the Canadian and Ontario Associations of Naturopathic Doctors.
In 2015 Dr. Slipacoff, ND obtained her prescribing license allowing her to use IV vitamin drip treatments and prescribe desiccated thyroid and bio-identical hormones as needed with her patients. These treatments and medications are especially effective in cases of fatigue and chronic stress, anxiety and other mood disorders, PMS or peri-post-menopausal symptoms, decreased immune function and malabsorption conditions such as celiac disease and inflammatory or irritable bowel disease.
Earlier in her career as a Naturopathic Doctor, Susan enjoyed giving back to her profession by teaching and supervising the 4th year clinicians at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, the teaching clinic at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She also worked as a teaching assistant for the soft tissue manipulation, physical medicine and acupuncture programs. Since then Dr. Slipacoff has focused primarily on running Kleinburg Integrative Health and providing high quality care to her patients.
