It is recognized not only for its ability to treat physical ailments, but also for its positive effects of mental and emotional well-being. The practice takes into account the biopsychosocial model of health, which considers the intersection of biological, psychological and social aspects of a person’s health and wellness.
Massage therapy may aid with many conditions including, but not limited to:
- Chronic Pain
- Musculoskeletal Disorders (i.e. chronic low back pain, neck soreness)
