Kleinburg Integrative Health: The Team
Dr. Sophia Kotys, ND
Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. Kotys has a profound interest in metabolic health and primary disease prevention. She helps patients who are struggling with high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, insulin resistance, fatty liver and cardiovascular disease by utilizing evidence-based interventions such as herbal medicine, nutraceuticals, nutritional therapy and lifestyle modifications, to support healthy metabolism and prevent chronic conditions from progressing.
Throughout her one-year clinical internship, she had the opportunity to work with patients on the Complex Chronic Illness focus shift. This experience allowed her to gain insight into the underlying mechanisms of conditions like chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and autoimmune disorders, enabling her to provide the appropriate treatments to heal these patients. She is also deeply interested in gut health, menstrual health, and enhancing the immune system.
Dr. Kotys’ aim as a Naturopathic Doctor is to address the gaps in the healthcare system by helping patients understand the root causes of their symptoms and guiding them toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
